Expanding on a previous study, the research team has developed a comprehensive overview of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on women migrant workers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The findings show that many impacts observed in Vietnam during the second COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 have intensified during the fourth outbreak in 2021.
In addition, the research team has provided policy recommendations to strengthen the protection of marginalized groups in the context of a pandemic and other emergencies.
